WOW is all I have to say about my flowers and decor from Bells & Whistles! They exceeded all of our expectations and delivered such beautiful floral and decor. We provided them all our ideas and suggestions and they ran with it and created the wedding decor of our dreams! Everything was perfect and beautiful! Bells & Whistles even created the amazing chandelier that I wanted. Dorothy, the owner of Bells & Whistles, was amazing to work with. She has such a talented and artistic eye for floral arrangement and wedding decor. We were very, very happy we chose Bells & Whistles. They even stuck within our budget, and were actually one of the only vendors that stuck to the budget we provided! We were very happy with our services from them and would recommend them to any Outer Banks bride! You won't be disappointed! If you are getting married at the OBX, PLEASE consider Bells and Whistles DIY studio. This was so, so fun. And Dorothy has an amazing vision and creativity- I can not say enough good things about this experience. Our flowers turned out amazing and were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The pricing is very reasonable for the DIY studio and it was completely hassle free. I highly recommend them!

I would give Bells and Whistles more than a 5/5. They were wonderful to work with. We originally were going to be married in Hatteras but had to change to Corolla less than a week from the wedding due to the bridge being washed out from hurricane Irene. They were so flexible and changed a few things last minute with the venue change. They rented us a ton of super neat vintage items as we had a sort of vintage backyard beach wedding. We also did the diy flowers for our centerpieces. Everyone loved it who participated! I could go on and on about them. They were so great and we got above and beyond our monies worth! They made our wedding outstanding and really saw our vision! I highly recommend them and if I ever need flowers again I will go to them.

Dorothy is a true gem. Not only did she provide EXACTLY what we were looking for in our decorations and flowers, but she was able to help us figure out what is was that we wanted. From the first initial phone call, to the tons of emails and finally her personal delivery of my bouquet on our wedding day, her creativity, kindness and experience was a pleasure to work with. I can't imagine anyone better in the OBX. We (and our guests) STRONGLY recommend Bells and Whistles for your wedding!

All the people that I worked with at Bells and Whistles were great! I was unable to get to do a consult in person, but they were able to accomendate me by doing it over the phone. They were very creative, professional, friendly, and helpful. The flowers were gorgeous from the bouquets to the centerpieces! I received many compliments on them. I couldn't be happier how they it all turned out! I would recommend them highly for their services!

Bells and Whistles is THE one-stop shop for decor and flowers. I was so happy to be able to voice my budget needs, and have a plan worked out that fit these needs, and more! I was only expecting to get flowers from Bells and Whistles, but the value and professionalism of having them do the decor as well was unbeatable! I really enjoyed the "Do It Yourself" studio, where the staff helped me and my bridesmaids put together centerpieces and bootineers. Everyone at Bells and Whistles has passion for what they do, and are helpful and very friendly. I would without a doubt recommend Bells and Whistles to anyone. Your highest expectations will be exceeded!!!

Dorothy and Bells and Whistles made my rehersal dinner and wedding day breathtaking!!! My mother in law and guests cannot stop raving about Dorothy's creative eye for the rehersal dinner. Additionally, everyone at the wedding were amazed by the beauty of every one of Dorothy's details. I could not imagine working with a better person!!!

Dorothy had me at hello. :-) On a whim, we decided to stop by the Bells and Whistles studio on our way out of town to see what they had to offer. It was almost closing time when we arrived, and we didn't have an appointment, so we were really just expecting to look around the shop and maybe flip through a few albums of events they had designed. Instead, Dorothy stopped what she was doing to sit down and work with us for an hour. As we were talking and she was pulling out fabrics, ribbons, and design books, I really got the feeling that she was approaching us in a way of “This is what I hear you saying your vision is, so here are some ideas that you might consider.” vs. “Here’s what I have and have done in the past, so maybe you’d like that too.” … and we loved it. This, combined with Dorothy's sense of calm mixed with enthusiasm and creativity for her craft let us know that she was going to be the perfect florist/event designer for us to work with. Dorothy was prompt, flexible, easy to work with, and stayed within our budget throughout the planning process. The look Dorothy and team created for our ceremony and reception was everything we had hoped for and more! I completely trusted her judgment, let her run with a few ideas, and was so glad that I did. My mom and I had pieces we wanted to incorporate into the decor and Dorothy worked to ensure everything seamlessly melded together. Her florals were fresh and incredibly beautiful! I loved my bouquet so much that I had it preserved afterwards. The non-floral elements she used were equally amazing. From the iron work at the altar, to the vintage furniture lounge area, and the "Love is sweet" frames by by the cake table, every detail was absolutely perfect. Dorothy and team at Bells and Whistles come with my highest recommendation!

The flowers and arrangements were absolutely stunning! Dorothy has amazing creativity and great suggestions to help you get whatever look you are going for at the most reasonable price! I was amazed by the vibrant colors and flowers that were provided!

From the very beginning we fell in love with Dorothy and her staff. The very act of putting and pulling everything together was fun and fascinating. She took a hum drum outside space and created a magical enchanted garden that our guest are still talking about. She was able to understand my vision from the first time we met, and being able to put it all together on our special day perfectly! Dorothy and her staff were WONDERFUL. The process was easy and painless. I gave her my budget and a picture of what I was thinking and she way exceeded my expectations. My fiancee also called to have flowers delivered to me on the day of the wedding. Let me tell you, I have NEVER seen more gorgeous tulips in my life- the stems were 2-3 feet long and the flowers were PERFECT and presented in a gorgeous vase. When he saw them, he was blown away too and said that they were worth double what he spent on them. They were also very flexible- we had last minute changes due to rain and they had no problem re-delivering all the bouquets, etc. to another home. I highly recommend Bells & Whistles for your wedding, or just an everyday arrangement...they were great!!
