Whitney is amazing. No words will do justice. She assisted me in planning my wedding from California all thru emails, Skype and even a coincidental trip to San Francisco (perfect timing). Her food is very well presented, priced fairly (actually cheap!) and service was impeccable. She insisted that I was fed properly throughout the party (Thanks Whitney!!) and her to-go basket saved my life (at 3am in the hotel room!). She had all her staff in masks (Masquerade Ball themed wedding) and she facilitated the logistics between all vendor (she was a wedding planner in the end!).I would hire her again and again. Too bad my next wedding in in Brazil and she is going as a guest now. I miss her food!

I worked with Whitney from A Champagne Taste. She was great! She even coordinated with the Rental Company for the linens and eveything! The reception was beautiful. The food was delicious and there was so much VARIETY! Everyone had plenty to eat with enough for everyone to go back for more if they wanted :)

I will be recommending Champagne Taste Catering to anyone I personally know that needs a caterer in the Richmond area from this day forward. All around the service was phenomnenal.First off, the food is delicious, and I feel that is saying something because I can be a bit of a food snob when it comes to wedding food. And the food served at our wedding tasted exactly the same as when we tasted it during our consultation. I've gotten several compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was. Also, the prices they offer are incredibly reasonable, and much cheaper than other caterers in the area. I'm not exactly sure how they are able to provide such high quality food and service for such a low cost, but it was great for us since we were foodies on a budget.Whitney Fero, the owner, was amazing to work with. She was incredibly flexible with our menu, and let us to quite a few tastings before deciding on our menu. My now husband was put on a gluten free diet after we had finalized our menu, and I was afraid he wouldn't be able to eat much of the food we had chosen for the wedding. I let Whitney know, and without any trouble she modified all of our dishes to be gluten free (with the exception of one that couldn't be modified) so that we didn't have to change the menu we had worked so hard to decide on. Also, we found the advice given by Whitney as early as our first meeting to be super helpful. Other caterers we met with pretty much just presented us with food and called it a day. Whitney asked us tons of thought provoking questions and gave us a ton of great ideas for how to use the food to make our wedding better. For example, she presented the idea of a signature drink to make sure we didn't have lines at the bar. We loved that she used her experience and provided services to really make sure that our wedding was amazing all around, and her services really went beyond just providing tasty food (even though the food was still very very tasty).

Champagne Taste was the perfect choice for the food at our wedding. Whitney was incredibly easy to work with and laid back. Everything was done perfectly and from the minute I entered my reception, guests were telling me how phenomenal the food was. There were so many choices of what to serve and how that we really were able to customize our wedding the way we wanted it and the guests all enjoyed it and are still talking about it!

We had Champagne Taste Catering provide the food for our wedding reception and it was, in a word: Phenomenal! We were able to customize our food offerings based on our own taste and even made some pretty crazy special requests that Whitney pulled off beautifully! Whitney Fero's staff is professional, courteous and really looks after you on your important day. Whitney went above and beyond for us and I am so grateful that I had such an amazing experience with her. Champagne Taste is most definitely worth having and I would recommend her to anyone in the Richmond area!

The guests at my wedding are still talking about how wonderful the food was. And if they only knew what I paid for it--Whitney was by far the most reasonable caterer I interviewed. Hands down. And for that price, she offered so much more than the others. I don't know how she does it. But she does it!! I come from a family of food snobs, and we were all impressed! Hire her!!!

Whitney provided a creative, DELICIOUS menu for my reception at an old train station - a location with unique challenges for catering. She and her staff handled it beautifully, and created a beautiful and tasty spread that the guests all raved about! Unfortunately, we did have an issue with one rude staff member at the bar, but Whitney did everything in her power to make it right, and I'd say she even went above and beyond the call of duty to do so. The food was wonderful and planning with Whitney was FUN - she allows you to be creative and can really make most things happen if you can dream them up. She is also SO reasonably-priced - by far the most reasonable of the 4 caterers we looked at in Richmond, and also with the best food! Loved working with her and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Delicious! There are so many choices and you can still customize the foods based on our own taste, and there is so much to choose from!Whitney and her staff went above and beyond for us and we had such an amazing experience with her. Your guests will be commenting on how delicious the food is all night. I highly recommend Champagne Taste to anyone in the Richmond area.

My parents celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary and it was catered by Champagne Taste. Whitney and the staff at Champagne Taste are amazing! Food was fantastic, and service was outstanding. The serving staff took away all my stress and handled everything, which left me to enjoy the day with all the family. For the next event that I need catered, I will contact Champagne Taste right away!

I cannot say enough good things about Champagne Taste Catering. Many months ago I was asked to coordinate my Nieces Reception and took that occassion to call Whitney to go over some details and it took just a few minutes to realize that my nieces Wedding Catering and service was in VERY good hands. Because I was located serveral hours away from Richmond, I only was able to trade phone calls and emails, but I found every question and request promptly answered or explained. The day before the wedding Champagne Taste site coordinator Tammy, met me at the reception site and proceeded to get the Hall into tip top shape. The day of the wedding, as our family was at the church, Whitney kept me informed (via text) as to what other vendors had arrived and when they had finished, and when I arrived at the reception hall, I could scarcely believe it was the same place I had walked into the morning before. And the FOOD!, It was the best wedding food I had ever tasted,and there wasnt anyone there that didnt rave about it. Champagne Taste provided a truly delicous and diverse brunch buffet for our reception. (From pastries, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes, passed eggs Benedict and passed waffles, to chicken breasts, salad, and penne pasta!) Our guests raved about the food. Whitney was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. Thank you, Whitney!

Whitney and Champagne Taste Catering were fabulous during my wedding last New Year's Eve. Despite my guests showing up very early, Whitney and her staff were on top of every step of the wedding, including the wedding, food prepped (and delicious!), and the bar staffed with a bartender who kept everyone's glasses filled! She coordinated with my wedding planner, the DJ, and me many times throughout the evening to ensure things were moving smoothly. My cake plates disappeared directly before my wedding, and she had extra plates there to cover it! Finally, she is very willing to work with you on what you can receive for your budget, giving you the most for your money!

Whitney was very easy to work with and helped me create a wonderful fall harvest menu. My guests raved about the food! Tammy, the site manager, was kind and very helpful. She went out of her way to make my reception beautiful! My only complaint would be with one staff member who took tons of smoking breaks and was not attentive to the bar where he was stationed.

We are still hearing amazing things about the food at our wedding! We interviewed a lot of different caterers and we fell in love with Whitney the first time we met her and tasted her food. She was very easy to work with and was quick to try figure out how to work in all of our requests - which she did fabulously! I was amazed at how much food we had for what we paid - I think many of the guests were stuffed from the appetizers before they even got out to dinner. But we have had so many rave reviews and we coudln't have been happier! Her staff was amazing too and definitely helped to make our wedding a success!

Whitney's food still makes me drool to think of it, and she's awesome to work with too.

I can't say enough good things about Whitney and the Champagne Taste crew. They were wonderful on the day of, treated my guests like kings, Whitney worked with us to personalize the menu, changed all of the little things that we liked and didn't like, and went out of her way to make sure that our day was hassle-free. I have gotten tons of compliments from guests on the food.
