The cake designer at Coffey cakes makes GORGEOUS cakes. I definitely recommend this vendor for weddings. For our wedding, we explained exactly what we wanted for a wedding cake, and the cake exceeded our expectations!

Our wedding cake was not only spectacular, but it was also delicious. I will definitely be going back to Coffey Cakes in the future for any other cakes we may need. I would absolutely refer my family and friends to Coffey Cakes as well.

Wendy did a fabulous job with my wedding cake. She was very personable and easy to work with. She is flexible and willing to go above and beyond. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Wendy made cupcakes for our wedding as well as a small top tier cake. DELICIOUS! And so cute. She did such a wonderful job listening to exactly what i wanted and making it happen. The blackberry swirl is my favorite, but we also had red velvet, vanilla almond and key lime. Everyone loved them!!

My husband is not a cake fan and when we tasted Wendy's cakes he really liked them. The cake on our wedding day was moist and tasty! The best part was it looked amazing and tasted amazing!

Wendy of Coffey Cakes makes cakes that are not only beautiful, but delicious. She created key lime cupcakes for my daughter's wedding along with a round cake to put a topper on. The cupcakes tied in the wedding colors--yellow, gray and cream along with the initial C for Crane. They were beautiful. She delivered and set up and provided directions and a box for the top cake to freeze for their anniversary. We couldn't be more pleased with her service.

I highly recommend Coffey Cakes for your wedding cake. My daughter picked several different flavors for her cake. All were very delicious. I think this was the best cake i have ever tasted. The guests at the reception also said they really enjoyed the cake also. The buttercream icing was excellent. She also made a groom's cake and that was also creatively designed with the Boston Redsox design and delicious. Choose Coffey Cakes to do your cake you will be highly satisfied. Thanks Wendy for a great cake.

Wendy Coffey created the most beautiful, most delicious cake for my daughter's wedding. It was a winter themed wedding and she came up with wonderful suggestions to carry out that theme, including spun sugar snowflakes that she attached at the venue. I had several people ask me about the cake during the event. Several said they didn't even like cake, but thought Wendy's cake was fantastic. Recommendations don't get much better than that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Coffey Cakes for future brides.

Yum! She has some really unique flavors along with the basics and I went with an orange creamsicle cake to be extra unique. Well, I didn't get much of it but what I tasted at the reception was perfection. Also, I received a lot of feedback from guests who said they typically don't like cake but said that this cake blew them away and they ate the whole piece! She can do any design as well and the cake looked exactly like the vision I had explained to her. She's very nice and let us do two tastings for free!

Wendy Coffey of Coffey Cakes is an amazing artist. I have purchased numerous specialty cakes from handcarved airplanes, to Juicy Couture purses, Tiffany stacked boxes, my daughters wedding cake and engagement cakes ... she can make just about anything. Her prices are very reasonable, the cakes are "moist" and fillings delightful, whether it is fondant or buttercream it will be a hit at the party. People coming to our family events always are wondering what the cake will look like next ... she is professional, friendly and very, very easy to work with. I recommend Wendy to anyone ... but hurry, she books fast.

Our cake was the highlight of our reception. Everyone was talking about how it tasted like a cake your grandmother would make. It was moist, tasty and the buttercream icing was to die for! I have and will continue to recommend Coffeycakes for any type of special occasion cake...not just a wedding cake. She has a wide range of grooms' cakes, bridal luncheon/shower cakes, and even anniversary and birthday cakes. Do you and your event a favor, highlight it with a cake from Coffeycakes!

Wendy was SUCH a pleasure to work with!! I believe that her professionalism and flexibility must be particularly highlighted due to the way she stepped up, despite our terrible wedding coordinator -- Wendy came through!! We ordered 200 cupcakes, each decorated with buttercream icing in the shape of rose petals and an 8" round cake with a pattern based on the lanterns we used as centerpieces - they were GORGEOUS!! Not to mention the taste of the (100) strawberry and (100) chocolate w/ raspberry filling cupcakes -- so so so so yummy!! My fiancée and I, not being from Lynchburg visited nearly all the bakeries in the area and tasted their samples - Coffey Cakes was number 1, hands down! Thank you again Wendy for all your hard work and helping make our day so wonderful... and tasty!

Wendy (& her husband) were absolutely WONDERFUL to work with - always responded to phone calls and emails sent, communicated effectively to make sure everything was done correctly re: set up, tiers, shape, florist placing flowers, etc.
I also hired Coffey Cakes to bake/decorate our engagement party cakes (5 small- providing each flavor of cake we would present at our reception) What a huge hit -These cakes were for our immediate families; ALL were all very pleased with the flavor/texture and presentation of the cakes.
Wendy KUDOS for making such a fantastic cake for our reception, one that our guests will NEVER forget. We are so very pleased with you and your work! Our CAKE recommendation -------> Coffey Cakes!!!!

Not that we're ever planning on getting married again, but let's say we hopped over to a parallel universe where we weren't married yet...we would choose Coffey Cakes again in a heartbeat. She worked with us, was just wonderful throughout the entire wedding planning process, she delivered the cake on time, it was beautiful, and it tastes AMAZING!

The guests raved about the wedding cake. It was beautifully designed and exceeded our expectations. My daughter and son in law were very pleased with the taste, texture and overally quality of the cake. Wendy always promptly responded to our calls and was very flexible with last minute changes to the size of the cake. I only have one daughter but if were planning another wedding, I would definitely use Coffee Cakes.
