The food for our wedding was outstanding. They gave us everything we asked for and even more! I would highly recommend them for your wedding or other event.

Creative Cuisines was the perfect caterer for my wedding. I could not have been more pleased with the experience and working with Steve Munday directly to plan the perfect menu and event for us. It was not only easy but a pleasure. Steve is not only your caterer, but he also helps plan out the event, keep you on track (and calm), and is able to advise you to ensure that you are having the event that you dreamed. Beyond the service you receive, the food is amazing! I had so many compliments during the wedding and after, that this was the best food that anyone has experienced at a wedding, hands down. My family and friends can be a bit of "food snobs" and found that everything was perfecting prepared and presented. We also had a few special requests - vegan diets and gluten allergies which Steve and his staff were able to handle with ease. The staff was wonderful as well, I knew they were taking care of everyone and they were friendly and accomodating at all times. Like most bride and grooms, we were not able to enjoy as much of the food at our reception as we expected, but Steve took care of us by preparing a basket with "goodies" from our reception along with several slices of our cake to enjoy later. Not only is the food and service you'll recieve from Creative Cuisines amazing, but the fact that they work so well with your other vendors (and practically know everyone in the area) gave me a feeling of ease and that my reception was going to be flawless. I would certainly use Creative Cuisines again for any other special event, party, birthday, and know that I could depend on them to not only deliver some of the most delicious food I've had, but to also provide an overall great experience for me and my guests.

Working with Steve was a breeze and I am absolutely 100% satisfied with the catering he did for my wedding reception. I originally chose Creative Cuisines because, compared to other caterers I looked at, Creative Cuisines seemed to give you a lot more for your money. The entire menu was custom and Steve did an excellent job of both giving us the food we asked for as well as staying within our budget. We also got to take home all the leftovers, which was a big plus when you are spending that much money on food! Creative Cuisines didn't change cork fees for serving the wine we provided and Steve even helped us calculate how much beer and wine to serve. As me and my fiance did not want a traditional wedding cake, we spoke with Steve about our alternatives. In the end, Steve made us a two tier cheesecake, which we used as a wedding cake, and then made a dessert bar with other options. All the guests raved about how incredible the food was and I agree with them! The food was absolutely amazing!! I can guarantee that we will eat all of the leftovers!! If you are getting married and need a caterer, call Creative Cuisines!

I loved working with Steve. He was responsive and flexible to all of our requests. He made sure to tell us if anything wouldn't work. He helped us to create a beautiful and delicious menu within our budget. Leading up to our wedding we coordinated most of the details over email which was very helpful to me and my work schedule while planning the wedding out of town. During the actual reception, everything was seamless despite a quick summer storm that blew in and out (the reception was outside). After the reception was over Steve packed up a basket for us of leftovers and one item I had requested but that ultimately was deleted from our menu. This was such a thoughtful touch! If I had to do it all over again, I do it all the same. All the guests said the food was EXCELLENT and not the typical wedding fare. If you value good food, then pick Creative Cuisines and you won't be disappointed.

I don't even know where to begin with my praises of Steve and his crew at Creative Cuisines. From the first contact we made by phone I was impressed by his responsiveness, friendliness, professionalism, and desire to help us have the wedding reception that we dreamed of. Ours was an out-of-town wedding - neither the bride and groom, nor parents of the couple live in Williamsburg. Steve assured us that he could provide all the service we needed and alleviated any anxiety we had about planning a reception from a distance. He was familiar with our hall and made wise recommendations about table arrangement and crowd "flow" to maximize everyone's ability to mingle and enjoy the music, food, and each other. The food was beyond delicious and its presentation was superlative. I could go on and on about what a positive experience we had with Creative Cuisines catering our wedding reception. I loved working with Stave Munday. His food is delicious and he worked very hard to put together a menu both to our tastes and within our budget. He also took care of all the rentals not provided by the reception venue. I am one of the only brides I know who actually got to eat dinner at her reception and I am so glad I did. For those brides who don't get that chance, Steve provides a basket full of his delicious food.

If I could give Creative Cuisines infinity stars, I would! Not only is Steve a talented chef, he is friendly, organized,responsive, helpful and made me feel 100% at ease. All of my guests complimented the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Anyone planning a wedding should definitely choose Creative Cuisines! Ask for the crab cakes, they are AMAZING. Steve Munday made our daughter's wedding reception both easy to plan and a big success. He helped with menu suggestions to suit both taste and budget, went with the bride to pick out linens, coordinated with all vendors - the site, florist, linens and tableware and dj - and provided fantastic food. He and his staff are very accommodating and friendly which helped to make the event so enjoyable for everyone. We couldn't have asked for more. We took leftovers home that fed visiting family members and I didn't have to cook! We are still getting comments from friends about "the best wedding reception food ever".

Working with Steve Munday and Creative Cuisines was an incredible experience and the best decision that we made for our wedding! His service was immaculate in every way. He was willing to meet with me as often as I needed and met me at my venue months before the wedding reception. He took the time to listen to what we wanted in our menu and could not have been more spot on. His knowledge of wedding reception logistics, timing and service presentation ensured that everything moved smoothly. Steve also linked me with a great rental agency that took care of items ranging from chairs to tablecloths. His staff at the wedding was incredibly friendly and professional and a delight to have around. The food was not only delicious but beautifully and artistically presented. People went back for third and fourth plates and are still raving!Creative Cuisines was a pleasure and worth every penny. I highly, highly recommend them!!

. When our son announced his plan to marryin Williamsburg, we felt Steve was the only realistic choice for a caterer. The bridal couple met with Steve and came away with the same conclusion. My husband and I, of course, also engaged Creative Cuisines for the rehearsal dinner in our home. I must confess, arriving after a cold and rainy wedding rehearsal, to find tables gleaming with silver and candlelight, and professional attendants offering delightful little morsels for our guests, was bliss! The combination carving station and buffet was a sensible way to combine elegance and utlity. The food was divine, the service exceptional (they cleaned and swept as they went) and the entire event went as smooth as silk. We relied on Steve's expertise to create a special evening, and he and Creative Cuisines exceeded our expectations. My husband and I loved the experience so much, we're already planning our next event-a birthday, an anniversary, anything we can think of to justify another call to Creative Cuisines! Thank you, Steve, for the memories ( and the leftovers!)

We never imagined we would get so many compliments on the food at our wedding. Creative Cuisines provides a level of food and service beyond the typical "wedding food." Steve is a phenomenal chef that truly pays attention to detail, will customize the entire menu to match your tastes perfectly, and is always willing to go the extra mile to make your day that much easier and more special. We also used Creative Cuisines for the rehearsal dinner; it allowed us to have an intimate atmosphere while maintaining quality equal to or above the best restaurants in town. In short, you can't get any better than Creative Cuisines.

Steve Munday and his staff were incredible. Steve e-mailed me a proposed menu which had something for everyone. He took it from there and handled the whole event with only 1 meeting with me. The food was the talk of the evening -- all of the guests were completely wowed. Their signature wedges were a hit. Steve also did cupcakes for our wedding, and they were spectacular. The service was great; they even sent a box out for a child and babysitter. And they boxed up all of the leftover food for us and the guests to take with us.

All I can say is every weekend im going to order from them cause I cant get enough of their food.

Steve is such a nice guy and an amazing chef. We met with him on several occasions and he provided us with such an outstanding menu. All of our guests raved about the food and still tell us it was the best food they have had at a wedding. We also provided Steve with a budget and he worked with us to stay within it. I would recommend this vendor as a rare find these days as he provides outstanding and reliable service at a reasonable cost. Thank you Steve!!!

Steve Mundy was one of two caterers we interviewed (both highly recommended), but chose Steve for his obvious love of food and his friendly manner. From the initial conversation to the elegant "tasting" at his establishment to the wedding reception, it was a pleasure to work with Steve and his staff. He was always responsive to our requests and questions, even adding some Polish-inspired items to honor my son-in-law's family. The menu he prepared was creative and delicious, earning raves from the guests, many of whom are local. I wouldn't think of trying anyone else for another catered event.

Definitely the best caterer for your Williamsburg wedding!! Steve Munday is a pleasure to work with and an excellent chef. Our wedding was last month, and our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. Mmmmm....I can still taste those delicious butternut squash ravioli and crabcakes... Steve truly lived up to his company's name and was very creative and flexible in customizing our menu to fit our specific tastes and budget. Our crowd had very diverse tastes, and Steve managed to please everyone from discerning foodies to picky allergy-prone eaters to vegetarians to the meat-and-potatoes crowd. Steve also put a lot of effort into the presentation of the food and worked with our florist (My Favorite Things), cake baker (Charlie Little), and reception venue (Alumni House) to capture the exact aesthetic look we wanted, and our reception pictures turned out beautiful as a result! I was so happy to arrive at our reception venue and find everything exactly as I wanted and all our guests happy.Steve also provided our bar services, and our guests commented on the quality of the mixed drinks. I also personally loved the wines Steve picked out, they were an excellent value for the cost. I mentioned the wine he picked to a friend who owns a wine shop, and he was very impressed with the quality of wine being served at our wedding as often wedding wines are pretty poor in quality.Steve's staff was also extremely professional, and the service was very timely. Steve really went out of his way to make our day wonderful -- he exceeded all of our expectations and endeared himself to both me and my husband.

From our very first meeting, this vendor took the time to explain options and ideas for our daughter's reception. He was open to suggestions and came up with a menu within our budget. We had a scheduled tasting session which was excellent and that excellence carried through to the reception of 100 guests. He was very clear on what he would provide and his organization of the reception - there were no 'bad' surprises as he did all that was promised. He and his staff were a pleasure to work with and I would certainly recommend them. Our guests continue to rave about the food and set-up at the reception!

If you want great food, hire Chef Steve. He caters exactly to what you want, while making sure all of your guests enjoy it as well. We had a vegetarian wedding, an absolute nightmare for most caterers! But Chef Steve took it like a champ, coming up with great options. Half of the guests didn't even realize it was vegetarian until my mom spilled the beans!! (Not literally, there were no actual beans that were spilled.) But between the pizza, quesidillas, and other fun food turned fancy, and the presentation, this was some of the BEST food I've ever had.

The level of service was beyond our expectations. Chef Munday recommended other vendors and then called ahead for us to see if their services would be available. During our first meeting, chef told us he used only fresh ingredients in his menu and that there would be no pre-packaged dishes. He then asked for a list of favorite foods from which he designed a personalized menu within our budget. All email inquiries were answered same day with generous explanations and cheerful enthusiasm. The reception was so incredibly well managed that it didn't even require the services of a wedding coordinator. The family and wedding party simply relaxed and enjoyed stunning food! Many guests commented that the food was the best they had ever eaten at a wedding. And there was plenty of it! Afterwards, the families went home with generous leftovers, as promised by Chef Munday.

Creative Cuisines did an absolutely tremendous job with our wedding. Steve needed very little guidance -- he took our cues and ran with the menu, and he did an absolutely fantastic job given that he had only met with us a few times in person. He provides a service in Williamburg that is far and away as good as the food and service I get in my home town of New York City. He is a delight to work with, as is his staff. I would trust him with any event, any time.
