I would definitely recommend East Beach Catering to everyone. The food and work that they provided for my wedding was amazing. They took all our wishes and came up with a wonderful menu and a creative layout. The pricing is very reasonable and the taste and quality of the food is excellent. Cathy was wonderful to work with and really paid attention to our visions and wishes. We did a station style wedding and we never ran out of food the whole night. This pleased us and definitely satisfied all our guests. Everything was so delicious. Up to this day, we are still getting compliments about the food and how much there was. We are so pleased that we chose East Beach Catering and would recommend it to everyone. You will not be disapointed

Cathy and her assistant Jill were amazing. I sent them tons of emails over the course of wedding planning and they responded to everyone. They made my wedding a dream wedding. The food was amazing and all our guests were raving about it. My mother-in-law said that she could never eat a crab cake from FL again. It was truly an honor to work with her. They give you everything that you could possibly want. They even helped me come up with a signature drink that matched my navy blue them. We interviewed many other caterers and no one came close to Cathy’s professionalism, menu, or creativity. If you are looking for a caterer she is the one. Many other caterers in Virginia Beach are just so stuck up and Cathy is the farthest thing from that. And her staff at our wedding was amazing. Additionally, they helped us clean up at the end which was priceless. There is not a negative thing that can be said about Cathy or her staff. You would be lucky to have her as your caterer.

Absolutely Amazing. Cathy @ EBC handle everything from setting up the table decor to the cocktail hour and dinner. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed it so much. Dessert was pretty and tasteful. I am speechless about how amazing everything was. So worth the $$$. Another vendor I plan on using in the near future!

East Beach Catering was beyond wonderful! We had our wedding this month and so many people left asking who did the catering and how delicious the food was and how helpful the staff was as well. Anything I asked about before the wedding was "no problem, we can do that" and they had great suggestions. We didnt have to worry about a thing that day! Thanks East Beach! :)

Amazing! Our guests could not stop talking about how great the food was! The crab cake appetizer and the prime rib were unbelievable! EBC was hired 6 weeks prior to our daughters wedding because the original caterer fell through. Cathy bent over backwards to provide us an excellent experience. Thank you Cathy!

Hands down, no questions asked, THE BEST!! We recently had our wedding in Virginia Beach and asked East Beach to cater our event. We wouldn't have changed a thing. I come from an overly demanding family when it comes to food and not one person can stop talking about how good the food was! Service, cost, quality and flavor was all amazing. Cathy, the owner, is awesome. She no doubt went the extra mile to help not just with food but planning and organization on our big day! Thank you once again so much. The best thing I did for my wedding day was to hire East Beach Catering. Even though I had a very small wedding, I became engaged in November, and set my date the beginning of February for a April wedding. One of my friends recommended Cathy at East Beach Catering. When I met her she told me not to worry about a thing. On my wedding day I walked into a gorgeous decorated room and was served wonderful food and didn't have to worry about a thing. My guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was. The Shrimp and Grits in Martini glasses were a real hit! You can't go wrong with East Beach Catering!

We wish we could rate Cathy Carter and her staff at East Beach Catering more than 5 stars. They deserve at least a dozen. From the first meeting with Ms. Carter, we knew we didn't have to worry about a thing. We've attended functions catered by East Beach before, which is why we knew we were in the best of hands. Ms. Carter's creativity and execution of personalized themes is amazing. The food is outstanding and its presentation is stunning. Her flexibility with the menu is so important. Whatever you want, she'll make sure you have it. The personal touches she takes upon herself to include show how much she strives to make each event a very personal one. It's obvious how much pleasure she gets from pleasing her clients, which is turn shows the pride and effort she puts into all her events. The wait staff is also extraordinary. They are fun, curteous, experienced, helpful, professional and also go the extra mile. I can't say enough good things about Cathy Carter and the entire staff of East Beach Catering.

A REVIEW FROM A TRUE FOODIE- BORN AND RAISED IN NEW ORLEANS--THIS IS A MUST READ!!Cathy and the entire East Beach Catering "family" (they felt more like family members than co-workers), without question, was the pivotal piece of our wedding reception. We thought the bride and groom were supposed to be the centerpiece of the event.....but, alas, it was East Beach Catering and their delectable food and presentation. As we have had many visitors to our home after the wedding reception, everyone (without exception) walks into our home looking for leftovers from East Beach Catering. We have officially become 'East Beach Catering Groupies', and will scream from the mountain tops - or beach side, as it may in the Hampton Roads area- how much we love this company and feel as though Cathy has become one of our family in the process. If you are planning an event......this should be your one and only stop!!!!

Cathy and her staff made our day. They were accomodating to our "latin" requests and the food was out of this world. All details were taken care of and what a surprise to have the room totally taken down for us. We had a "beach theme" and the presentation was perfect for our decorations. The staff were attentive to all needs and I didn't have to think about anything. I would highly recommend them for any type of occasion.

Cathy Carter and the staff at East Beach Catering were absolutely fabulous! They provided exceptional service for our wedding and the quality of the food was phenominal. The presentation of the food was out of this world! If you're looking for a caterer that is easy to work with, classy and has great ideas, then East Beach Catering is the perfect choice. Each of the staff members who worked at our wedding were the most pleasant, friendly and made sure that our day was absolutely perfect!

Cathy & EBC were outstanding! They were so easy to work with & the food was incredible! So many of our guests commented all night at the wedding and afterwards about how great the food was. By far one of the best decisions to hire them! Cathy makes it so easy to create a menu & offered so many suggestions that blended with what we wanted. I would hire EBC for any event. She takes so much time and gives her presentations a personal touch. We had an outdoor wedding at a private home, and her team made set up and follow through so easy. I arrived the next day and everything looked like they had never been there!

Cathy and her team at East Beach are incredible! I worked with them on a friend's wedding recently and they made the day of so easy for those of us coordinating. They were prompt, everything was set up beautifully (taking care of more than was required) and on top of all that the food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend East Beach Catering to anyone for an event between their fantastic service and fabulous food. Keep up the good work!

I don't know how to thank them enough! The two people they sent to our house for the wedding were amazing. Mandy is one of the nicest, sweetest, most charming people I've ever met and John was friendly and beyond helpful. You couldn't of sent two better people for our ever-so-small wedding. The food was also amazing and well prepared! Beyond anything I could of ever imagined.

I have worked with Cathy at East Beach several years and in over 6 events, all uniquely perfect! Cathy approaches food as an art and truely captures its beauty in her presentation. She goes above and beyond the scope of providing delicious food! Cathy takes a table and creates a masterpiece with color, texture and props. Most recently Cathy catered our wedding and we have heard rave reviews from our guests! Whether a corporate event, family gathering or wedding... Cathy will bring your event to life and share in making your day memorable!

I have had east beach catering recommened to me by my wedding planner. The tasting was great. Food and plate presentation was excellent. Although when it came time for the wedding day. we had an evening wedding and were running a little late for our plated dinner that we ate it warm. But that wasnt completely their fault in the event that i had a suprise dance with my dad right before it was time to eat. The one thing that i was not happy with was that the meat was too raw for most of our guests, which i remember specically telling them that we wanted it cooked medium to medium well. Potatoes were amazing , corn was a little to peppery for my liking but most enjoyed it. Lastly they forgot to pour our champagne so we did not do the toast until after we ate. All worked out ok, great dinner!

I LOVED working with Cathy Carter at EBC. Hiring this company was one of the best decisions I made and one of the only decisions that I never questioned. Cathy is the upmost professional, but more than that, she really cares about her brides. When we first met with her we tossed around so many ideas about what we wanted for our big day. Her proposal was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. On top of that I wish we could do tastings every week because the food is DELICIOUS! I have received so many compliments about the food at the reception, and even though I didn't get to eat much on the actual day, she sent us home a trunk full of food to munch on that night. You HAVE to try their mac n' cheese, it's truly the best I've ever had. And speaking of trunks...we had a travel themed wedding and it was so special that she thought to send us our goodies, in a trunk instead of a regular carry out bag.Additionally EBC is well worth what you pay for. They don't charge things like cake cutting fees and they're also willing to work with you on what you'd like to do with the bar. For us, she provided all the mixers and the beer, but let us supply our own alcohol. We saved SO much money this way. I can't say enough great things about Cathy and her staff at the East Beach Catering and if I ever have to cater another event I won't look anywhere else!

We received only positive and glowing feedback about the food. I was so impressed by the wonderful spread of appetizers. We chose to serve the food family style which everyone enjoyed since it blended the best of a buffet and sit down approach. Cathy was a doll to work with and we enjoyed our tasting so much that we just couldn't wait for the wedding. Among my favorite items were Cathy's delicious homemade yeast rolls, loaded mashed potatoes, and crab stuffed tilapia. The presentation was just stunning as well (orchids in all the champagne glasses for instance). I highly recommend Cathy and her team.
