Event Central LLC was the absolute WORST vendor I have ever had to work with. I placed my order and paid a deposit about 2 months before my wedding (table, chairs, linens, vases, chargers, and uplighting originally). I later called to take off the linens and uplighting because I found better prices. The day before my event I called to confirm delivery time and they tell me that they have rented my tables and vases to someone else!!! They used emails from the previous year to say that I changed my order so they rented out my items. If they had looked at the time stamp on the emails they would have seen that they were from Nov 2011. I did not place my order/pay deposit until earlier this year. How could I change my order in the past?!?! They were VERY unaccomadating and rude! They eventually found me some tables but they literally looked like a big piece of plywood with legs screwed into them. The tables were stained, warped and had to be older than me. The only saving grace was I had table cloths to cover these disgusting excuses for tables. And to make things worse after the confusion with my order, once it was corrected they made me pay extra for their mistake because the amount I paid did not cover their rental costs since my order was incorrect and did not include tables and chairs!! I then had to shell out extra $$ for THEIR error! they did not even offer me a discount or apologize. I will NEVER work with again or recommend them to anyone else. I wish I had paid the extra $$ and used a reputable rental company instead of this sorry excuse for a "business". Future brides please do your research and use a more dependable rental company because using Event Central LLC almost ruined my event and stressed me out beyond what was necessary the day before my wedding!

Event Central female owner has a very NASTY ATTITUDE. She lacks the basic customer service skills required to deal the public on a daily basis. Although, my experience was only related to renting linens and the dance floor box it was one that lacked enthusiasm, professionalism and gratitude. The items I rented were great no problem there. However, they were late picking up the items and upon arrival no one greeted those who were there waiting on them. They just came in and started to disassemble their items. This lady who was also onsight this night, was less than pleased with the way the chair sashes were hung on the hanger because she couldn't count them unless they were hung a certain way and made this know in a less than acceptable manner. There is absolutely no FLEXIBILITY AND NO REGARD FOR OTHERS!!!!! It would have been worth the extra pennies to use a company on the Southside to furnish the items I needed for my reception.

This is truly a one stop shop with great prices but the customer service from Janet (one of the owners) that my husband and I received was horrible. Her attitude and disposition was very unprofessional and downright mean. We informed her that several of our chair covers were soiled and our unity candles (that SHE insisted we rent through them because they're dripless) didn't light for our ceremony (it was so awkward and caught us totally off guard in the moment) and her response was basically, "Oh well, we have an emergency number on our front door you should have called and the mechanical candles not lighting was an act of nature. Common sense should have told you to cut the wick! You had up until your event time to inform us of all these things" RUDE-RUDE-RUDE!!! Our wedding was indoors so an "act of nature" just doesn't make sense and there was NO wick to cut on the burned out overused candles she rented us. How were we supposed to know the candles wouldn't light until the actual ceremony? And who remembers to copy an emergency number from the FRONT DOOR of a business?!! We should have been given a card or something with information on it. When you're getting a wedding together you have so many other things on your mind and you'd think she would know this...after all she's been in the "wedding business" for years right? An apology would have been nice. Again, the prices and one stop shopping is great but Janet's HORRIBLE attitude we could have done without. Her husband on the other hand was very helpful, patient, comforting, and easy to work with. God bless him! Either way our day was beautiful & special. I would recommend them, make sure you compare total prices, read ALL fine print, and be sure you have boxing gloves & a lawyer when dealing with Janet because she will make you want to fight her first and sue later!

This company has products that you NEED, so that is why you would use them. If you are looking for OUTSTANDING service and quality for your dollar, perhaps do more research.

I am an event planner and I absolutely loved working with Event Central. I moved here from Maryland, and I'm elated to find a place like this. It is often hard to please everyone, but they they sure try hard at a very reasonable price. I will be planning another wedding this year, and I definetely will use them again.

This is the worst place when you need a vendor for your wedding decor and needs. Janet(the owner) has the worst attitude and customer service. You will feel like she doesn't need your business. They might be cheaper on their rental prices but they get you in their misc. fees. Make sure you compare the total from your quotes and even if Event Central is a little cheaper, i would NOT use their service. Oh and the worst is at the end of the night of your wedding day after you've paid all your money, you'll get even crappier service. Good luck if you decide on Janet. THE WORST!!!

I used this service for event rentals only. I have no complaints other than that the people who dropped of the rentals were a little rude to the staff at the venue and the wedding planner. Event Central LLC is a great value if you are having your event on the Peninsula.

Event Central had everything that I needed to complete my wedding on a tight budget. Even when I didn't think that I would be able to afford a wedding photographer, they had a wonderful photo package that fit in well below my budget and I still got more pictures than I would have somewhere else at more than twice the cost. Well done Event Central!

We used Event Central for our daughter's wedding Thanksgiving weekend. They advertised as one stop shopping for our wedding needs and they truly were. We had an outdoor wedding so used the altar setup, tent, and seating from Event Central. We also had them make our cake (6 layers and 3 different flavors) and provide the DJ for the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Because we are from out of town, I needed someone reliable to provide everything, set it up, and break it all down when the wedding was over. Jon and Janet truly came through for us. We made our reservation almost a year in advance but I needed to make changes as the date approached. They were flexible in adjusting to my needs. I sent them layouts of what I wanted and they followed every instruction perfectly. Janet even stood by to set up the sand ceremony for us outside because we had some windy conditions and were afraid to set it up too early. We provided the fresh tropical flowers for the cake and they provided the expertise. It was both beautiful and delicious. The DJ (Lawrence) did an outstanding job and worked with us very closely to be sure we got exactly what we wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to rely on Event Central or to recommend them highly for anyone who wants a comprehensive and reliable group to handle every detail of their wedding. Thanks Jon and Janet for helping to make my daughter's day fabulous!

WEdding central is a great place to find multiple things, I rented a wide variety of items for my rception from them from table cloths to punch fountains, certain things can be pricy but for the most part the were the best prices around.
