Heather was the best vendor we had for our wedding by far!! She did both our engagement and our wedding photos. She took so many great pictures it was tough to choose our favorites for our albums. I would highly recommend her to anyone for any type of photo session that you need. She is one of the most professional and responsive vendors of any kind that i have ever dealt with! You will not be disappointed if you choose Heather Hughes Photography.

Heather got way over the 400 photos required. I loved them all and I'm so glad that she was there for Derek and I on our big day.

Let me just say that I honestly can not stand getting my picture taken...I simply do not like it. To say I was a challenging subject is putting it mildly. Aside from the pictures that every couple has to "endure", I hardly noticed them. Excellent job on their behalf, because the photos obviously prove they were everywhere! They are very easy to work with, always on time and had excellent communication with us. We were looking someone that was laid back yet professional; Heather and Rob have both in spades. Do yourself a favor and explore what they have to offer--you won't be disappointed with the results.

Heather was awesome! I knew from the moment that I met with her that I wasn't going to have to worry about a thing! I got so many compliments from my guests about how attentive she was. Whenever there was a photo-op she was right there to capture the moment. Our families (and us) couldn't have been happier with the way the pictures turned out! She even accomodated a change in our time at the last minute extending an hour to take some extra shots. I can't thank her enough. She was very professional and personal at the same time. I HIGHLY recommend her for you photography needs!! Thanks Heather!

She did a great job, very personable and responsive. Very flexible in working around our schedules for meeting prior to the wedding to cover all the details and specifics. She captured the day and all the special moments perfectly. Would definitely recommend Heather!

Heather was great. The pictures were awesome, she was very professional before, during and after the wedding, yet she was fun and personable during the wedding. My guest remarked that she was very pleasant and nice. She drove more than a couple hours for our event and she was there all day. I am thoroughly impressed with her work and professionalism.

She provides the story of your big day through the photos she takes. And their will be photos included of moments on your big day that you didn't realize had even occurred! Heather is very professional and very people-friendly.

Highly recommended! I loved the personal style of Heather Hughes Photography on focusing on the ad-hoc moments of our special day and not posing for pictures (I'm not photogenic at all). During the entire day of the wedding, I hardly noticed they were there and the pictures turned out beautiful!

Heather was absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anyone. For all the money spent on a wedding, this is one investment that will last a lifetime. Heather was personable, interested in our story and in what we wanted our wedding day to be, and flexible in meeting our needs. On our wedding day she captured everything, yet was hardly noticed. And now the best part -we absolutely love our pictures!! The day we got them, we looked at them over and over and over again. Only one word came to mind - WOW. She truly captured the feel of the day and gave us a priceless gift - the ability to re-live our magical day.

Heather was amazing! She was warm and friendly but was very professional in handling family pictures and keeping the "show-on-the-road." I felt very comfortable with her and most importantly, my pictures were perfect! She definately captured the spirit and feeling of our wedding day in each and every shot. I live in Seattle and my wedding was in Virginia so I was left to find a photographer online. I was very lucky to find Heather and would recommend her to any bride!

I wish I could scream to the world how happy I am that we had Heather do our photos!!! We LOVE our photos. When you look at the pictures you feel as though you are experiencing the wedding even if you did not attend it. The candid shots are awesome and the still shots are wonderful. She captured every moment, I mean every moment. Just as the other reviewers stated you would never know that she attended the wedding. I would recommend her to everyone I meet. She is very professional, her contract is easy to read a understand. I live in the Richmond area and she would email, send a reminder card or call just to keep in touch. We also met a couple times within the year to touch base. Our photos were completed less than 2 weeks after the wedding. We just have one dilemma, We don't know which photos to pick for our formal album because they all are Fantastic!! Heather thanks for giving us WONDERFUL DOCUMENTED MEMORIES of our wedding!!!!

Heather was such a pleasure to work with. All transactions were easy and professional. The day of the wedding she was on time (which we were late), and had already set up an appointment for photos in the lighthouse! Before we even returned from our honeymoon our photos were online at our website and ready for us to send to all our friends and family. All of our posed pics were great but the random action shots are the BEST. Thanks Heather for a wonderful experience and capturing our wedding day with beautiful photos! I would recommend Heather Hughes photography 110%.

Heather was absolutely amazing to work with! She is extremly professional but is very friendly and approachable. She was always on top of things and responded to our questions timely before the wedding and had all of the photos posted online within 2 weeks afterwards. Our proof book arrrived just days later. She made the planning process extremly easy and the wedding day went absolutely perfectly. The pictures came out AMAZING and we couldn't have been happier with them. She seemed to have captured the whole entire day perfectly. She was everywhere taking photos constantly but you never seemed to see her as she blended in so well. Our friends and family referred to her as our "ninja photographer". The traditional shots came out great and were still natural and not overly posed. The candid shots were fantastic! She captured some great moments and we couldn't have been happier in choosing Heather and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

Heather did an absolutely amazing job. She exceeded mine and my husband's expectations. From getting back our proofs on time to always following up with us thoughout the whole process to the actual day in keeping everyone on track and capturing every emotion of the day. She truly is a professional and gives the best service (and her prices are very reasonable). She is organized and got all the "shots" we wanted and they turned out amazing! Of all of the vendors we chose, I looked forward to meeting with Heather the most. She was very personable, professional, and easy going. On our wedding day her work was sharp, detailed, and captured the special moments of our day that we were not able to witness personally. She told our wedding day story the way we would have told it, had we possessed her talent and vision. Her services were by far our best wedding investment.
