Ju-C Suckers

I saw the lobster shaped lollipops in a Martha Stewart wedding magazine and thought crab shaped suckers would be perfect for our Maryland wedding. After placing the order MONTHS in advance, I was assured our favors (150 hearts and 150 crabs) would be sent to us 2 weeks before the wedding. The week before the wedding, I received an email stating that there were problems with some of the flavors we choose so we had to switch almost half our flavors right before the wedding (and, by this time we were supposed to have received the suckers, not emails regarding changes in the order). No big deal I thought. I changed a few flavors and emailed Julie to ensure that we would receive the lollipops in time for the wedding which was 9 days away at that time. She assured me she would finish them that Saturday (the 8th) and I would receive them Tuesday the 11th. While I was concerned with how close that was to the wedding, I was happy to hear everything would arrive on time. I was honestly ok with the change in flavors. What I was not and am not ok with is the fact that we received 1 box of lollipops (the hearts and a few crabs) on Thursday, 2 days before the wedding, and never received the crabs until Monday, 2 days AFTER the wedding. I called Julie on several occasions and she has yet to return my phone call. She did email me saying that it was not her fault (it was the delivery persons fault) and she would not provide a refund for the suckers. If I want a refund, I should speak with the delivery company. I think that is absurd. I am so disappointed in how our favors turned out and her complete lack of professionalism. She has not even called me back. She apologized for shipping them later than she was supposed to but not for how that affected my wedding and how I imagined it. I would absolutely NOT recommend Ju-C Suckers and am sorry I did business with them in the first place. We feel that Julie did not honor her part of the contract and are so disappointed in how truly unprofessional we feel she behaved in the matter.

After seeing the button-shaped lollipops in Martha Stewart Weddings, my husband and I decided to order some to use as favors since his last name is Button. Ju-C Suckers were terrific to work with - they sent samples for only the price of shipping, their prices were reasonable, they arrived with perfect timing and they tasted terrific! The button-shaped lollipops provided just the touch of humor we were looking for, and we got lots of comments from our wedding guests. We were extremely satisfied overall, and are still enjoying the leftovers!
