I had the pleasure of attending Elementary school, High school and part of college with Jim. He really is fantastic. Check out his website and his work speaks for itself. We couldn't be happier with our engagement and wedding photos. For our engagement session we ended up changing the date on him 3 times, but he worked with us and even traveled from Richmond to Northern Virginia to do our photos session in Old Town Alexandria, in December, in the cold. We got our engagement photos so quickly, and we were so incredibly happy with the results. Jim is just incredible at what he does. He knows what looks good. He'll give you direction in poses and always gets the perfect shots. Our wedding was hectic and it was difficult to get the families together and in the same place and moving fast enough to get all of our formal shots, but Jim was patient and always smiling. There were several moments when people jumped in to get their own shots in the middle of Jim trying to take formal shots, but he was patient and let them take their photos and just continued on. We received our pictures about 2 weeks following the wedding and Jim really managed to capture everything. He is just incredibly talented and absolutely wonderful to know and work with. I definitely recommend him for every big life event! You will cherish your photos for life, and he knows that and takes extra care to make sure that your photos are incredible.

James is very professional and so easy to work with! His pictures are timeless and the quality of his photos are absolutely wonderful. He provides a very comfortable atmosphere and is very patient. We've been married for a few months now and we still can't get enough of the pictures he took during our wedding!

I considered myself VERY picky when choosing all of my wedding vendors, but from day one, I knew I had made the right choice with Linkowitz Photography. Being a very detail oriented bride, responsiveness, timeliness, and organization were extremely important to me. James never made me sweat it out wondering when I was going to hear from him and I can't stress the importance of that. In addition, we had quite a lengthy list of pictures we wanted snapped on our big day and it went incredibly smoothly, despite inclement weather. We even made it to our reception before the designated time that James had estimated for us. Most importantly, our pictures were gorgeous. James is a true artist and captured some incredibly creative shots that we will treasure forever. I've received countless compliments and couldn't be more proud to show off the snapshots of our big day. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is, Linkowitz Photography is an absolute steal for the price. From one very picky bride to another, you can't go wrong!

James did an exceptional job for us at our wedding- the pictures are fantastic! One great thing was his responsiveness- as a harried bride it's frustrating not to hear back from vendors for weeks on end- James emailed/texted me back immediately every time I had a question. I've already recommended him to many friends :)

My husband and I got married in June and Linkowitz Photography was AMAZING! From our initial meeting with Jim, we knew that we made the right decision as to who we wanted to capture the images of our most important day. Jim was always involved and so creative, making sure he captured the day just how we envisioned. I loved working with James. My husband and I worked with him for our wedding and engagement session. The best thing about James is that he makes everyone feel really comfortable. Men hate getting their pictures taken...but James made it really fun and put my husband at ease during our engagement session. On our wedding day, James showed up early and ready for my day! He takes amazing pictures and is crazy fast at getting your pictures on a cd and ready for you to view....I had my pics in exactly 1 week! Crazy! I would highly recommend him and will use his services in the future when we decide to start a family.

James saved me after my contract with another, less professional photographer fell through (7 months before my Big Day). He always responded quickly to any questions I had via email. My discs with my pics were waiting for me when I returned from my honeymoon. Our wedding and reception was 5 1/2 hours long, he took 658 pictures. He didn't eat or drink at the reception, all he did was walk around and shoot all night. The pictures were excellent and gave my new hubby and I all the precious memories we wanted so badly. He has a great personality and made us feel totally at ease. We enjoyed him and I would recommend his services to every bride I know..

James was incredible. It was so easy to trust him to get all the shots we could hope for. And he got so much more! Also, very willing to work with your schedule, which was great for our flaky habits. Highly, highly recommended. Will be using him again.

James did a great job at our wedding! He and his assitant were very easy to work with. The next day a blog post was done capturing some important parts of the day and was a nice preview for the almost 700 pic DVD we received after our honeymoon! James captured all the moments and laughed along with our crazy family and friends! I highly recommend him to everyone!

James was wonderful to work with and he provided an amazing service for a great price. We were able to have the very artistic looking photos that we wanted and they were within our price-range. James was attentive and responsive and we had a CD of all of the wedding photos when we returned home from our honeymoon. He also posted some shots of the wedding on his blog the day after the wedding! Finally it should be noted that James worked with us to put together a list of all people who should be photographed, and when the craziness of the wedding day came and all plans went out the window, he worked with us on the spot to rework the schedule. A wonderful experience all around.

James was FANTASTIC! He was an awesome photographer to have around and very professional. My husband and I had him do our engagements, my bridals, and our wedding! We were always shocked at how amazing his pictures came out and how fast he was at getting them to us. I would recommend him to ANYONE! James did our engagement, bridal, and wedding photo's. In every photo we were blown away with what he captured. James can take the simplest things and capture their beauty in a photograph. We were blown away by everything that he has done for us. We have recommend him to all of our close friends and know that they will be as equally satisfied as we are. James is also punctual, flexible, and friendly. I have never had professional pictures taken of me before, but James made me feel at ease. He is also just a fun person to be around. Overall, my husband and I could not be more thrilled with him. We plan to use him in the future when little ones start to come.

James did a great job at our wedding! He was very prepared and easy to work with. The photographs were ready and uploaded the next day! When we got back from our honeymoon we received a wonderful DVD with over 500 pictures! James managed to capture all the important moments without disrupting the flow of the night and put up with our crazy friends! I really enjoyed looking back through the pictures since everything that day was a blur! We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a creative, fun photographer.

Linkowitz Photography is the best! He has the artistic eye in order to get unique/real/unposed pictures that I love. He's got a great personality, which makes each session very comfortable. He's now our family photographer as we've used him for our engagement session, bridal portraits, wedding, and now maternity & new born sessions to come! I would recommend him first to anyone.

Wow, talk about a great photographer. FANTASTIC! James was very responsive to all my questions and concerns, flexible on meeting times, very creative, and set his prices at a good value. Not to mention we had our pictures back before we even returned from our honeymoon! I was speachless when I saw what he had captured on our big day. I must say that I couldn't have asked for a better person to have at my wedding - probably the best vendor I had - I never worried about him being on time or being professional. If flights weren't so expensive, I would ask him to go to Vegas with us to renew our vows this year. I recommend him to everyone that asks who did my photos. Great person to work with.
