Lindsey was amazing from the moment we met her! At our very first meeting, it was clear that Lindsey understood the look and feel of my dream wedding. When my mom and I left, we immediately knew she was the girl for us! Throughout the entire process of planning, she kept us on task and on budget. She recommended amazing vendors to us and graciously worked with some vendors we selected ourselves. As the wedding got close, she kept my stress-level to a minimum. She encountered some challenges with our reception venue, but took care of them before I ever even heard about it! On the day of my wedding, I was able to enjoy every moment because I knew everything was being handled so masterfully! When it all came together, it was more amazing than I ever could have dreamed! She thought of every detail and it was stunning! I recommend Lindsey and her team very highly! You won't be disappointed!

Words cannot adequately describe the job that Lindsey and her staff did for us!!! Lindsey Hocker knows her craft and was very approachable and extremely professional!! Since my husband and I were both stationed overseas at the time, she was instrumental in guiding us in what can be an overwhelming time. She was very PATIENT and gave us some really creative ideas that made our day special and unique. We ran into a few obstacles with vendors and Lindsey handled it with firmness and professionalism. The day of the wedding, I didnt have to worry about a thing!! She had it all under control and the wedding and reception was AMAZING, CLASSY and POLISHED!! We have so much respect for Lindsey..she does her job with ease, effortlessly and with an unshakeable calmness! We could not have done this without her and she is indeed a part of our family forever!!! Well worth EVERY penny!!!!!!!!

Where do I begin? I must say Lindsey and her staff are the very BEST! She is extremely creative, personable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. From the very beginning, Lindsey rolled her sleeves up and jumped right into action. She was available to help with every detail and answer all questions (and did I have questions)! I had lots of ideas but wasn't sure of how to bring everything together. Lindsey was able to streamline things for us while having a calming effect. Lindsey has so many contacts within the industry. She has a great reputation and everyone that I spoke with loved working with her. You need it and she knows someone...I mean it. She definitely knows how to take the stress out of a situation. I ended up using vendors she knew for my flowers, cake, linens, catering, and venue. My wedding was very unique. I had lots of small details and Lindsey did a super job making sure everyone did and knew what they were supposed to do. Lindsey had her job cut out for her when my wedding had to be rescheduled last minute. We were supposed to be married on the day that Irene took place. Lindsey worked with all my vendors and made our wedding happen. Within 24 hours we needed another venue, vocalist, setup, and DJ. Lindsey worked her magic and had a venue set up for us with a complimentary dance floor, great vocalist, and floor plan. She even went the extra mile to work out the payment arrangements with my old venue and the new venue. I was extremely nervous the day of the wedding and Lindsey checked on me all day. She kept me assured and up to speed on deliveries, time lines, and she even sent pictures. During the evening, our DJ was not doing exactly what he was supposed to do and Lindsey provided a back up. She was able to call in one of her contacts and they took over. Towards the end of the evening, we had lots of items to take to the car. Lindsey took our key and took care of everything. We were just as happy as we could be. When we got to our hotel room we realized that the caterers forgot our food. Lindsey volunteered to bring it to our hotel....now if that is not service I don't know what is. My entire experience with Simply Perfect was just that. I would recommend her and her staff to any and everyone. Any future events of mine, I will be working with Simply Perfect hands down!!! Thank you so very much :-)

Lindsey Hocker made my wedding turn into everything I wanted and envisioned it would be! I never could have done it on my own... I'm not very good with planning every tiny detail of something, and I really had myself backed into a corner! Lindsey came in to bring EVERYTHING together with less than 6 months until the wedding, I'm talking no dress, no cake, flowers, etc. Lindsey put me in contact with wonderful vendors who had great service and fair prices, and I've got to believe that's an unusual combination. Lindsey can step in and assist no matter what level of help (minor to MAJOR) you need, she is custom-fit to you, and she knows what's she's doing!

Lindsey did an awesome job giving me ideas, vendor recommendations and day of coordination. The only reason I didn't rate her full five stars for responsiveness was because sometimes she wouldn't respond to emails. I was an out of town bride, and sometimes I would swamp her with questions via email. In hindsight I realize the questions I was asking about details of the wedding wasn't so important, but at the time I wanted to know how many decorative lanterns I should buy, or what she thought of linens, etc. These unanswered emails were months out from the wedding, and didn't ruin my day in any way. Lindsey reccomended the place we chose as our ceremony and reception venue. It was perfect, and I wouldn't have found it otherwise because I was only looking on here and the knot.com. Lighthouse on the Cove in VA Beach. The restrictions were, well, restrictive, but I got my outdoor ceremony on the water with indoor backup and the indoor reception. She also recommended the best DJ ever, Luke Barton. I didn't hear him before the wedding day, but he was awesome. The day of the wedding, Lindsey was invaluable. I'm so glad I had her. I didn't have to worry about anything, and my day was perfect. Thanks Lindsey! To all you brides wondering if Lindsey is the planner you should get-the answer is YES!

Lindsey and and the ladies of Simply Perfect Events are on point. Punctual, reliable, and professional, these girls helped make my big day stress-free. I originally thought I could do everything myself, but Lindsey and Kelly showed me that it wouldn't have been possible without them. They are extremely accommodating as they drove out to my house for our first meeting since they were currently in between offices. Now that is dedication! Lindsey and Kelly made sure all my vendors were in the know about when and were to arrive, helped orchestrate the flow of my ceremony, and made my reception run as smoothly as possible by keeping to the time line and reassuring me when I had concerns. Lindsey was direct, organized, supportive, friendly, and patient with all of my questions. OH - and I loved the different package options. A great value with a great team.

It was a great pleasure working with Lindsey Hocker and the Simply Perfect Events staff. We used Simply Perfect Events to coordinate our wedding. From the very beginning, Lindsey was very good about ensuring our needs and concerns were being heard and that she was providing the appropriate resources and guidance during our wedding planning phase. She was also very accessible. I’m the type of person who gets caught up in the details and worries about every little thing, but Lindsey and her team handled my endless questions and concerns very carefully and thoroughly. It was also great to have her by our side while meeting several of our vendors. I could sense that she is highly respected within the event coordination industry. She is very knowledgeable and has great vision of the bigger picture. I often found myself overwhelmed with several ideas and concepts and she was helpful in pulling it all together to help create the wedding of our dreams. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience I’ve had with Simply Perfect Events. On our wedding day, Lindsey and Christine flawlessly executed our plan. It was amazing! Philip and I felt like we were guests at our own wedding. The guest enjoyed themselves and everything went on without any issues. They far exceeded our expectations and would without a doubt recommend Simply Perfect Events for any of your event coordination needs.

I met Lindsey a good 6 months before my wedding. I found her online, and decided to interview her to see what she could offer. Believe me, I interviewed at least 4 other wedding planners.She was very nice, and offered some great insight, and seemed to get where I was coming from. I felt comfortable with her, and the price point, so I decided to use Simply Perfect Events' services. In the midst of wedding planning, we had to move from VA to CA. -Which added a bit of stress. But I felt confident knowing she has dealt with other out-of-town brides.Lindsey and I seemed to hit a small area of lack of communication while I was in CA. At one point, I would call or email about something, and wouldn't hear back. A week or two would go by? I told her on a couple of occasions that it was imperative I get updates to see how things are going. After expressing my frustration, it seemed to get a little better.We flew into town a few days before the wedding to meet with some vendors. She came to the meeting with our venue, and was about 15 minutes late. That didn't sit well with me. She stated she was in the general area, and was getting gas. I mean, getting gas is fine, but if you have a client-vendor meeting, it's important to be on time.Other than that, everything else went well. I didn't worry about a thing the day of, and everything was executed without a hitch. I couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out. After we did our send off, Lindsey did tell me that one of our vendors for linens, didn't pull through when it came to my table napkins. It was the wrong color. When this happened, Lindsey quickly called our florist (Bella Flora) and asked if she had the napkins that were SUPPOSED to be there. And sure if enough, Claire (Bella Flora) & Lindsey pulled it off! FLAWLESSLY. *I am soooo glad!* Napkins are crucial when it comes to completing the look of a table.Kudos to Lindsey and Megan for helping to tie everything together for our special day. Even though I made comments about our lack of communication early on, I will have to say that when it came down to crunch time, she was a great liasion and got it done and reached out to the other vendors just fine. I had absolutely no complaints--the day of. We were taken care of. Not a worry in the world.To Lindsey & her Simply Perfect Events team: Thanks again for all of your hardwork, and dedication to make sure all went well. I had a great overall experience, and would recommend you to all of my friends and family members.There are a lot of wedding planners out there. Do your research, and know what you want. Lindsey is absolutely amazing!! I knew the moment that I met her that I wanted to work with her. She made me feel very relaxed and excited at the same time. I told her my overall look for the event and she had so many ideas it was hard to choose! She has such a creative eye and is very talented at piecing together not only what I had in my head and filled in the gaps, but also showing me her vision and bringing it to life. I have never seen someone put so much thought into every detail and be able to still make me stare in awe at the final product because it was even better than I thought it would be. I chose the full service package with Simply Perfect and am so glad I did. As every bride knows there are so many details that unless you work in the wedding world you can’t even imagine them all until someone asks you if you have considered them. Lindsey was there every step of the way so I was not caught off guard by any of them. She knows the area and the people and took such a weight off of my shoulders when it came to making final vendor decisions with the recommendations she provided. Even though I chose the full service package, I still had a budget that I wanted to maintain. She had great recommendations for each vendor, which was really important as the amount for individual portions within my budget changed, and I still received great quality and service. I am confident that I can go to Lindsey with any budget and walk away from my event satisfied.Beyond her creativity and ease to work with I really enjoyed the communication. There were times that my brain was able to slow down and not concentrate solely on the wedding, and she consistently contacted me at least every two weeks when I wasn’t constantly asking her questions just to make sure everything was going smoothly and to keep me in the loop on the next project for the wedding to tackle. Even when I wasn’t thinking about my wedding Lindsey was. The professionalism of the Simply Perfect team was outstanding. They were so polite and waited on me hand and foot. I appreciated how quickly the team worked on their feet for unexpected situations. Unfortunately, as every bride dreads, there is always something that doesn’t go exactly as planned on the day of because life happens to get in the way. The last thing a bride wants on her wedding is to be worried that every detail did not come out as planned, no matter how big or small, and to my knowledge my wedding went off without a hitch. I am sure my cake could’ve been dropped and I never would have known because of the capability of the team to run a smooth and enjoyable wedding.I absolutely recommend Lindsey and the Simply Perfect team for any event. The service- before, during and after was above par and I couldn’t image anyone else putting on a more spectacular event. Thank you so much!!

Simply Perfect Events helped make a potentially bad situation FANTASTIC. When I orginally met with Meghan and Lindsey I was thinking about firing my original wedding planner. I was going to need several new vendors and someone who I felt comfortable and confident working with. These girls were definately the ones for the job. Couple planning a wedding with graduate school, moving to a new state, and firing a wedding planner all BEFORE the wedding and you get a TOTALLY STRESSED OUT BRIDE-TO-BE!! Meghan and Lindsey did not hesitate to take the reigns and help guide us through the last 6 weeks of wedding planning. They referred several new vendors, offered useful suggestions, and kept us organized, all the while assuring us that there was no need to worry! These ladies were personable, professional and up for a challenge. They completely saved the day and we would refer them to any brides-to be without hesitation!

Megan and Lindsey were a real pleasure to work with. The first day my husband, mother and I met with them, we knew it was a perfect team to work with. My mother instantly appreciated the respect and closeness we had developed just after our first meeting when Megan and Lindsey had concluded the initial meet and said goodbye with warm hugs! Megan and Lindsey's wedding planning services were very flexible and the customizable packages they offered was great for us! As a bride that had a very creative and involved mother, we already had most of the details already planned out and we were looking for professional, responsible and organized people to help us execute all the wonderful details that we had already envisioned for my wedding. Although along the way, when I found that I needed help or referrals, Lindsey and Megan pointed us to the right direction. Even though we had everything planned out for the wedding and only needed minimal help from Lindsey and Megan, they still kept in touch and made sure things were on its way and that sense of trust and consideration was greatly appreciated. The rehearsal and wedding day were the most critical times we needed Megan and Lindsey. Although one was not available during the wedding, they quickly introduced me to another member of their team, Jaime. I was not one of those bride that panicked the moment I found out that one of my planners that I had been working with for all these months was not available the day of the wedding. I had trust in the company and knew that whoever was stepping in place would be all caught up with all the details and would be on track with everyone, and Jaime did exactly that. My parents were a bit hesitant at first will everything we had handed over to Lindsey and Jaime the day of the rehearsal (it was definitely a lot of stuff!) But the moment I walked into the ballrooms when my husband and I were called out for the very first time as husband and wife, my eyes instantly drew to all the details in the room that Simply Perfect Events was able to put together for us. It turned out even better than my husband and mother had expected! It was such a wonderful experience and I thank Lindsey, Megan and Jaime and Simply Perfect Events for that!

Lindsey and Megan were great to work with. I hired them as day of coordinators, and we just clicked. We worked as a team to get the final details of our wedding pulled together, and the event was wonderful! If anything went wrong I knew nothing about it, which means they did their job very well.

I was planning my wedding from out of town. Lindsey and Megan were able to coordinate seamlessly with my vendors and me through email and telephone. They became my best friends for the planning period of my wedding. I had no idea they had so many clients because they made me feel like I was the only one. Whenever we needed anything they were there. We had so many things pop up last minute from weather to chairs, that we weren't even aware of until after the wedding. Lindsey and Megan made the day perfect ensuring every vendor was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. They were original with there ideas, friendly with the guests, and completely organized. I couldn't have made it without them. Their service was priceless and they have many packages that very for each brides need. They treated me as if I paid ten times the rate I did, Never skimping or cutting corners.

It is with great pleasure I recommend Simply Perfect Events. I must say that I was one of those mothers that didn’t think I needed wedding planners. My daughter had very specific ideas that didn’t fit into any of the formats suggested by the wedding planners I contacted. We thought we could find and contract all the places and vendors ourselves, even though it was going to be a destination wedding. After a consultation, Lindsey and Megan agreed to help me with the things I thought would be needed. I can only say I was totally naïve about the time and coordination that was required to bring the wedding and reception together. It is an exhausting process.Lindsey and Megan listened to what we wanted and made it happen.They were always available and went above and beyond my expectations, anticipating problems and ready with solutions. They had good advice and great ideas. They were tireless and always brought positive energy and good humor to our meetings and events. They were masterful coordianting the rehearsal, they brought order out of chaos. They ensured the day of the wedding was relaxed and enjoyable for the wedding party and for me. Everything went off without any hiccups. It was a beautiful wedding on the beach and the reception was stunning. I know for a fact, that Lindsey and Megan were the primary reason my daughter’s wedding was such a memorable success. Thank you for making Halley and Cory’s special day a Simply Perfect Event.

I would definately recommend simply perfect events to any bride to be. I called Megan and Lindsey with such short notice to plan my wedding. I was going to be getting married in 3 weeks and had nothing planned. They were so wonderful and helpful and planned my wedding in 3 weeks. The wedding turned out so beautiful. It was better than I imagined it to be due to the time frame in which we had. They relieved so much of my stress. I was in another state and they kept in great contact with me throughout the whole planning. I could never meet with them during the planning because I was from out of state but yet they still fully understood exactly what I wanted and fulfilled it all.They stayed within my budget but yet ensured to fulfill all my requests. I had everything I wanted at my wedding and it was very reasonably priced. They made it work. My wedding day went so smooth!! They were so great and I could not have done it without them!!!!!!!!!
