Something New

I was a little late in the game ordering my name cards for our tables, and they were great getting them to us in time! They actually came earlier then estimated. Those girls really know what they are doing!

You won’t find the stationery selection they have at Something New on the Internet. I had browsed the Internet and even got samples from on-line stores, but, I couldn’t find something that I really liked. Plus, nothing can substitute for seeing the products in person and touch them. Something New has so much to choose from, you could get a little overwhelmed, but I enjoyed browsing through the books. I almost gave up a couple of times, because I am a “know it when I see it” person, and when I finally saw the stationery that I wanted, then I placed the order. I got what I wanted customized with features that you cannot get on the Internet. For example, I saw my design on-line but couldn’t order the colors I chose anywhere else. I was very pleased with how my invitations, RSVP cards, envelopes, etc., turned out. The proofs came on e-mail and the order shipped very quickly. The staff at Something New even inserted the envelope liners for me. I recommend shopping here first.

I called ahead of time to set an appointment to meet with Malissa. During our conversation, I had given her a specific product number of an invitation I had seen online. She said she would have it ready. When we got there, Malissa stated she couldn't locate the invitation I was interesed in. We looked through multiple binders & when we found one we liked, now came the prices! We were dissapointed. Very expensive! It would have cost over $500 for what we needed! We didn't have the budget. Not flexible. Malissa was professional but the value was terrible.

Malissa was wonderful! She was prompt with our order. Everyone loved them. We received lots of compliments on our invitations.

I ordered my invitations from Something New (and also hired Malissa as my event coordinator) and they were beautiful! She had so many choices and was very knowledgeable about everything. We got so many compliments on the invitations and they price was very reasonable, especially compared to the online retailers.I also purchased a jeweled starfish to go in my bouquet and it was beautiful.

My invitations were so beautiful!!! They really set the tone for my wedding!!!

Something New is located inside Maya Couture and has everything from flower girl baskets to invitations and jewelry for the whole bridal party. Its run by the best wedding planner around, CMT EVENT PLANNING. The prices were quite affordable. When looking for the invitations, we set a price range and they kept me on budget. The invites were gorgeous. Ordering anything from them is fairly expedient, which can be important in a wedding.

My husband and I went into the store looking for invitations with no clues as of what we really wanted. The staff there showed us just about every book they had in the store until we found the perfect invitation. The manager emailed/called me to make sure I received my proof and was happy with the final product. I acutally went through another company with my thank you cards due to my location but I would have gotten them from Something New if I was home. Thanks for everything. Shannon Smith

I LOVED my invitations/save-the-dates, and Malissa was awesome at helping me make decisions on this! There are so many choices out there and she really helped me narrow things down. The layout of the store allows for good space to look at a few big sample books at a time, so that was nice. I also ran into a spelling error on my invites and everything was fixed in a timely manner. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend Something New to all brides!!

WOW! This place is amazing. I went in knowing one thing, I wanted snowflakes, and Melissa sat down and went through every book with me looking for snowflakes, and believe me that wasn't easy, but she seemed to know where they all were. She was so helpful in choosing the proper wording, and made me feel at ease when trying to figure out how to put my dad's name on the invitation without it being awkward. He passed before the wedding but I wanted his name on there some how. Most say "the late" but I felt that was too cold, so we sat and brain stormed, and she made some phone calls to other people, and ecentually came up with "the beloved", so much better to me. She helped me in so many ways, and was always so friendly. She was just as excited as I was about finding things for the wedding, and the day I came in, in tears because of issues with my wedding site, she listened patiently and offered to help in any way she could, much more than she had to do. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The personal treatment is worth it's weight in gold. I love these people, they have become like family to me.

Melissa, the owner and an event coordinator, was so helpful and friendly. She and her staff were so great with my mother-in-law and I when we went to decide on invitations. They patiently showed us anything and everything they thought we might like until we settled on rehearsal dinner invitations, wedding invitations, and thank you cards. I thought they had a great selection of stationery that I had not seen at the other places I had visited, and I really appreciated their customer service. Not only would they call me to confirm details before placing final orders, but when my order did come in and I called them back, they remembered exactly who I was and exactly what my wedding invitations looked like! They commented that when my invites came in, they all gathered excitedly to see them... I thought that was so nice!
