The Wedding Company is a boutique firm comprised of some of the most fabulous event planners on the East Coast. Led by hospitality industry alum Tanja Daniels-Woods, we design high-end weddings and surrounding celebrations that pair your vision with our knowledge and know-how. From intimate celebrations to grand affairs, town & country ambiance to coastal destinations, our experienced team will help you bring the day of your dreams to life.


ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Tanja Daniels-Woods has a great wealth of knowledge gleaned from over a decade of experience in the hospitality and special events industry. She has a passion for designing personal, elegant, and stylish events and has direct experience in aspects of catering, hotel/venue management, event design, event planning and execution, equipment and décor rental, floral design, and entertainment.

In addition to wedding design and coordination, Tanja also helps brides create memorable surrounding festivities: engagement parties, bridal teas, rehearsal dinners, departure day brunches, spa days, golf outings and tournaments, and more. And when she isn’t coordinating weddings, special occasions, and other social soirees, Tanja is often found planning corporate events, from small strategic planning sessions for ten people to annual conferences for companies and associations with hundreds of attendees.

Tanja has a natural instinct for organization, a flair for planning and design, and ingenuity for managing the “flow” of an event. She brings broad-based leadership skills to The Wedding Company, along with her extensive knowledge of how to run a team so that everyone comes together to create one smooth, seamless event.

Although always the consummate professional, a natural warmth and an innate sense of hospitality are hallmarks of Tanja’s personal style. She is open to new ideas, loves to travel and explore other cultures, and is always focused on continuing her education. And as you might expect from a wedding and event planner, Tanja enjoys hosting good friends and family at holidays and special occasions throughout the year!
